Jig Eel Combo Night Bass
Capt Ant reports a very frustrating 6a Bass trip.  The fish were there, they were biting, but it was just one of those trips where whatever could go wrong went wrong.  Tangles, missed bites, break-offs…uggh we all know some days we have to make the most of a bite because sometimes you only get one.  We landed about 20% of hook-ups/ bites.  That being said we had another molly-whopper thanks to Matt Stanton.  A 40.3lber, Matts largest Bass ever.  Gary “BigFish” had a beauty in the upper 30’s.  All fish caught were quality at 25lbs or higher.
Midnight Madness
Capt Ant reports the MADNESS from the earlier trip quickly vanished as another euphoric madness took over.  During our first drift and we knew it would be game-on for the entire tide and for the most part it was.  And these Super Moon Bass were of the hefty variety.  Add another 2 Behemoths to the list over 40 and probably another 20 in the mid to higher 30″s.  Mike Fantigross from Pt Jeff nailed a 40.5lber and Matt Culen also from Pt Jeff had a 40 even.  Doug “pillage the” Seay had 5 to 38lbs.  Gary had 4 to 36lbs (orl).  Bob-O and Bob-O Jr. had 5 between them to 37lbs.  It was similar to the crazy fishing we had last Wednesday just not as much quantity.  Check out the pix of the Monster Rock Slobs!!![ngallery id=307]
We have added a Wednesday night Behemoth trip for the rest of August.  Please make a reservation if you’d like to attend this trophy catching clinic!!!
