Monday August 11th

Sunset Striper Slam
Capt Ant reports a decent pick of bass on Monday night. We used eels from the start as the tide was still screaming from the moon and although we didn’t get the quantity we certainly had some quality moo cows to 38lbs

Half Day Fluke AM & PM

Captain Steven Jr reports a good morning of fishing for fluke. We also had some nice sea bass in the mix this morning. This mornings first place pool winner was Christos Maniatis of Brooklyn with a 4.8lb fluke and in second place was Alessandra Garlipp of Rochester with a 4.2lb fluke. In the afternoon we had very good fishing! We had a bunch of keeper fluke with sea bass in the mix. The first place pool winner was Howie McDougall of the Hampton Bays with 6.8lb fluke and in second place was Bill Gerneglia of Rockville Center with a 4.75lb fluke.

Montauk Local Porgies and Jumbo Sea Bass
Capt Stephen D reports despite the full moon tides we had a very productive porgy bite for most of the morning, with  full buckets aboard we went looking for some quality sea bass, and found them many 2-3pounders coming over the rail!! Overall an awesome day. The place went to Ruphus Small from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.4lb
