Night Striped Bass Jig & Eel Combo

Capt. Ant reports very solid to excellent Bassing on the two trips last night.  We had quantity and quality and the Behemothland came alive again…add another 40lber to the list!!!!!
6p Local Bass Express – Action was non-stop on every drift once we got tide.  It was steady,1-3 a drift with a decent number of blues in the mix as well.  Although we had a number of first timers, they mastered the process pretty quickly and we were able to maximize the catch.  Check out the video on Facebook….it certainly tells the story.  Rodrigo Silva took the pool with a 36lb Moocow and Brendan Johnson came in second with his own 30lb Moo.

Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Carl reports a decent day on the full day fluke boat. We picked away all day at fluke and sea bass. It was a bit picky, but by days end we had a decent catch for everyone. This was our last full day fluke trip of 2014- Captain Carl and Captain Stephen Francis would like to thank everyone who joined us for a spectacular summer! We still have full day porgies and sea bass trips everyday! For the complete Fall Schedule, check our Viking Fishing page!

Montauk Local Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today. It was a little slower than it has been, but we had some really nice sized porgies. There were plenty of sea bass and some blues in the mix as well. Today’s first place pool winner was Ron Rufufrand of Brooklyn with a 3.5lb porgy and in second place was Ralph Nelson of Englewood NJ with a nice 4.75lb sea bass.
