Montauk Local JUMBO Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports very good porgy fishing close to home today. We had mostly LARGE fish today! Everyone had their limit of sea bass up to 4lbs and tons of nice JUMBO porgies. We also had some blues in the mix. All in all it was a great day of local fishing. Today’s pool winner was Moisos Ramos with a nice JUMBO 3.5lb porgy.

PORGY SCHEDULE UPDATE!!!

Due to phenomenal LOCAL fishing Captain Dave has postponed going to Block Island for the long trip because there are SO MANY LARGE PORGIES at Montauk Light House. We will begin the extended trips to Block Island Tuesday September 9.

For the next week take advantage of the increased bag limit and catch your 45 porgies locally right at the Light House!

Captain Dave will continue sailing for Local Porgies daily departing at 6am returning at 1pm with a fare of $85. The porgies and sea bass are thick so make your trip now!

The Block Island Trips will now start TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 09, departing 5am and returning at 3pm with a fare of $95.
