30-40 Mile Wreck Trip
Capt Carl reports another fantastic day of wreck fishing on the Viking star. The weather was beautiful all day, especially for December, and the wrecks we hit were full of life! Giant, Jumbo, Knothead, Mahuska, Molly Whopper Seabass bit the hooks with fury, and double headers were normal. Most people had a limit in the first 20 minutes. We only had a few cod for the day. Pollack, white hake, ling, giant bergals, scup, and whiting rounded out the catch as well. It was truly a great day to be out on the water. Kurt Wuesterfeld took the seabass pool with a 6.79 pounder!

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a decent day fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had a nice mix of sea bass, which most people had their limit, and some nice keeper cod, with the high hook being 5 cod. Today’s pool winner was Kudionyaku Kalonyiakis of NY, NY with a 16lb cod. Unfortunately we are NOT sailing tomorrow Sunday Dec 7th due to the weather.
