Mark Kaminski Offshore Charter
Captain Steven Sr reports that the weather and wind conditions made for a hard offshore trip. Day one started with a pick of golden and blue line tiles, some wreck fish and barrel fish. By lunchtime, the weather turned against us, and the lightning storms throughout the entire first night disrupted fishing all day on day 2. After an overnight more conditions improved somewhat on day 3, and we picked more blue line tiles, golden tiles some beautiful large rosefish, hake and barrels. Some large mahi-mahi were also caught on the surface around the boat on light tackle. Pool winners were Joe Solomon of Brooklyn (Golden tile), John Kim of Floral Park (Wreckfish), Lou Sadler of Shoreham (Blue line) and Mike Felix (Snowy grouper).  Captain Steve, Captain Dave, Steve Ho, and Jesse give thanks to Mark Kaminski for organizing a great bunch of guys on a great trip, and especially to Chico “The man” for all his help during the week.
