Full Moon Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a fantastic full moon night trip on the Viking Starship! We arrived to the grounds before sunset and we were welcomed by birds and giant angry bluefish! It was lock and load big blues and we ever saw 3 whales about a mile away. As the sun was setting, the moo cow bass started feeding in a frenzy and they were all giant cows! Things slowed down as the tide died, but it changed quickly and they started biting again. All in all it was a great night with all the fish in the 20-40lbs range. Chris Luke took the top honors in the pool with a 39.2 pounder, barely edging out George Jehns 39.1 pounder! The bass are in so come and get some!

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Stephen Francis reports a decent afternoon aboard the Viking Star. We had some very windy but despite the conditions we still managed to put together a decent catch of some nice fluke. Today’s pool winner was Tara Woodbury of queens with a 4.6lb fluke.
