Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a slow night bass fishing. We had a lot of blues, but just 1 keeper bass and a few shorts. At least we had action with the fin fighting blues! Tonight’s pool winner was Thomas Przyborowski of Bayshore with a 16lb striped bass.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Carl reports a good afternoon on the Viking Star. We had mostly fluke with some sea bass and porgies mixed in. Today’s pool winner was Gregor MeChaber of Montauk with a 3.5lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a bit of a slow day today aboard the Viking Starship. We did manage a nice catch of sea bass and porgies which were both on the larger side. Today’s first place pool winner was Ming Chortani of Queens with a JUMBO 3.77lb porgy and in second place was Eric Mack of the Bronx with a nice 4.2lb sea bass.

Half Day AM
Captain Carl reports a good day on the Viking Star. We had a lot of action with fluke, sea bass and porgies. There were plenty of shorts and enough keepers to put in the pails. The first place pool winner was Doug Cunniffe from East Islip, NY with a 5 lb fluke. The second place pool winner was Tom Phillips from Garden City, NY with a 4.8lb fluke.
