Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Dave G reports a nice morning of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. We started on the end of the flood tide and caught some nice keeper fluke. Then the sea bass and porgies started to bite. We ended up with a nice mixed bag. Today’s first place pool winner was 8 year old Spencer Murphy of Shoreham with a 5.1lb fluke and in second place was Martin Dowd of NTC with a 3.4lb sea bass.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a slower day with the strong moon tide. They did have a good catch of nice size porgies, sea bass, a couple of fluke and striped bass. The first place pool winner was Sugita Yuh from Great Neck, NY with a 3.5lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Nolasco Abel from NYC with a 5.25lb trigger fish.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave G reports a good afternoon on the fishing grounds. We had a mix of short fluke, larger fluke, sea bass, and porgies. The pool winner was Angelo Dementoulakos from Brooklyn, NY with a 5.3lb fluke.

Night Striped Bass-Full Moon LTD
Captain Carl reports an excellent Full Moon Trip on the Viking Starship. It was game on as soon as we arrived with bass taking both jigs and eels. We caught very well until the tide slowed up, then we picked a few more towards the end of the night making for plenty of keeper striped bass on board! The first place pool winner was Vinny Larosi from West Islip, NY with a 34lb striped bass. The second place pool winner was Bryan Delmasse from Southampton, NY with a 27.7lb striped bass.
