Mixed Bag-PM
Captain Dave G reports fishing was slow due to the windy conditions. We did manage a catch of some porgies, sea bass and blue fish. The pool winner was Ed Mackin from Boonton, NJ with an 8.7lb blue fish.

Mixed Bag-AM
Captain Dave G reports a tough morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star in a strong NE wind. They picked away at porgies and sea bass. The pool winner was Chris Mackin from Boonton, NJ with a 13.5 blue fish.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an excellent porgy bite today aboard the Viking Starship. We had nice sized porgies along with a dozen cod, some blue fish and some sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Uriel Phanton from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.2lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Ricky Davis from Brooklyn, NY with an 8lb blue fish.

Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports much better fishing tonight then we have been seeing, despite some very unfavorable conditions. We picked away all night at some nice quality bass and ended up with a good catch. It seems the full moon has the Moo Cows on the feed! The first place pool winner was Gary Brown from Massapequa, NY with a 30.3lb striped bass. The second place pool winner was Anna Svedi from Deer Park, NY with a 24.6lb striped bass.
