Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports rough conditions due to the wind, but we still managed some porgies, cod and nice size sea bass in. The pool winner was Urbano Mejia from NJ with a 3.5lbs porgy.

2 Day Full Moon Tuna/Sword
Capt Carl reports a good overall Tuna/Sword trip on the Viking Star. Our first night of fishing was pretty slow, we only had a few small yellowfin, some Mahi, and lost a couple better bites. During the day, we trolled around for a bunch more Mahi Mahi. The second night bite was much better, with more mixed size yellowfin, some albacore, one keeper swordfish at 70 lbs, and lost a couple big big ones, and a big beautiful 240 lbs Big Eye tuna was caught by John Dempsey, who was not in the pool. Bob Gregson of Newtown, CT took the tuna pool with a 60 lb yellowfin. Adam Twal from Stanford, CT took the swordfish pool with his 70 pounder and Maher Twal, also of Stanford, CT took the edible pool with a 15 lb Mahi.
