1/2 Day Fluke AM
Captain Carl reports an okay day of fishing on the Viking Stariper. The morning was good with some keepers coming over the rail and then in the afternoon it got a bit slow, but we had some nice porgies and sea bass which were all released unharmed. Today’s pool winner was Jim Kelly of Bridgehampton with a nice 4.32 lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Spring Porgies
Captain Dave reports an awesome day of porgy fishing. We had nice jumbos coming over the rail. Everyone went home with happy with their limit of fish. The first place pool winner was Moses Brown from New Rochelle with a 4.5lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Ganesh from Queens with a 7lb blue fish.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave reports slow fishing due to the fast drift and unfavorable conditions. We did have a bunch of shorts, scup and sea bass – returned unharmed! The pool winner was Paul Bocchino from Yorktown, NY with a 4.2lb fluke.
