Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Carl reports an excellent day of fluke fishing this morning aboard the Viking Stariper! We had lots of BIG keepers along with some porgies in the mix. Honorable mention goes out to Richard Ottosow of Fountain Hills AZ with a nice 10lb 8oz fluke! Our pool winner today was Christine Dassler with a 6lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Spring Porgies
Captain Dave reports an excellent day of porgy fishing today aboard the Viking Star. Fishing was great- we had plenty of action with nice sized fish, we also had some blues and a few fluke up to 5lbs in the mix. Today’s first place pool winner was Cecil Blades of Queens with a 3.7lb porgy and in second place was Hilary Williams of Queens with an 8lb bluefish.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Carl reports that the weather was too nice this afternoon! Although drifting conditions were not in our favor, we did manage to put together a decent catch. Our first place pool winner for the second time today was Christine Dassler from Bohemia, NY with a 4.5lber. Congratulations Christine! The second place pool winner was Guida Antueny from Oakdale, NY with a 4.1lb fluke.

Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a tough night of fishing. It started off good with jigs we had a bunch of blues, scup, but just 1 keeper bass and 1 short. The sun went down and not a single bite! Chris Luke from Southampton, NY won the pool with a 28″ bass.
