Long Range LTD Passenger Behemoth Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a SOLID night of Behemoth Bass fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had a slow but steady pick of all XXL moo cow Striped Bass! Some drifts were better than others and we ended up just a couple fish shy of our boat limit. Most fish were in the 25-40 pound class, with a pair of moo cows weighing in at 47 lbs, and Bill Barasch of Plainview, NY took the pool with a 51 lb 10 oz Behemoth Bass!

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joe reports a tough afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star today. We were able to manage a decent catch of fluke and some porgies mixed in and everyone went home with some fish for dinner. Pool winner to follow.

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Joe reports a good morning of fishing this morning aboard the Viking Star. It was a little tough half way through with the wind against tide, but we still managed a decent catch of fluke, porgies and sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Griffin O’Shea of Babylon with a 2.5lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a much slower day than we have been seeing lately aboard the Viking Starship. We did manage a decent catch of porgies and we had a nice catch of decent size sea bass. Overall it was an okay day. Today’s first place pool winner was Bobby Reid of Harlem with a 3.3lb porgy, and in second place was Stephen Li of Philadelphia 4.8lb sea bass.
