Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a great night of bass fishing on the Viking Starship! After a few drifts of nothing, they turned on and the rest of the night we had good steady action catching 2-7 big bass each drift! They were hungry and we were on them! Joseph Sikula from Queens, NY took the pool with a 40.8 pounder, and Damien Smith from Brooklyn, NY took second with a 38.7 pounder!

Half Day Fluke PM
Capt Dave G reports a good afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We caught fluke sea bass and porgies. Pool winners to follow.

Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Sarah reports a superb day fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. Every drift bought keeper fluke and sea bass over the rails. The fluke were large sized with only a few shorts. The sea bass we impressive as well. Ki Sun Kang was the pool winner with a nice 7.4lb fluke.

Half Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had a lot of fluke and sea bass on the boat. There were a lot of shorts in the mix which are returned unharmed, but there were also plenty of keepers to go around.  The first place pool winner was Angelo Demetroulakos from Brooklyn with a 5.5 lb. Fluke and in second place was Victor Voillgo of Brooklyn with a 5.2lb fluke.

Viking Fivestar 48 hour Tuna trip.
Tuna fishing remains slow after our last couple trips there has been a lot of life around but no numbers of tuna. We have seen a couple albacore and yellow fin around but not many. We did had good numbers of quality mahi a hand full of white Marlin and some wahoo. We are hoping to see an improvement in the fishing after this full moon.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There bite was strong and they caught plenty of nice sized Porgies and Seabass as well as some keeper Fluke. The pool winner today was Alcede Vargas from Bayshore NY with a 3lb Porgy and second place went to Lenny Macaluso from Merrick NY with  a 4lb Fluke.
