Long Range Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a solid night of bass fishing on the Viking Starship! We had to wait a while for them to bite… The outgoing tide still hasn’t produced much for us, but as the flood tide got going, the cows started chewing. We picked away at fish mixed size but the majority in the XL size class. Brandon Bellairs from Levitown, NY took the pool with a 39 lb beautiful Striped Bass.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joey D reports a very good afternoon of fishing with perfect weather aboard the Viking Star. We had nice big fishing coming up today- nice fluke, porgies and sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Bill Farley of Westbury with a nice 7.2lb and in second place was 14 year old Peter Bisulea Sayville with a 6.2lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

The first place pool winner was Bob Sunslain from Tarpon Springs, FL with a 3lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Ben Auyung from Staten Island, NY with a 6lb fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke – AM
Capt Joey D reports great fishing this morning. We had great conditions and we caught a lot of fish. We had big keeper fluke, seabass and jumbo porgies. The first place pool winner was Ron Yaish from Bergenfield, NJ with a 5.5 lb fluke. The second place pool winner was Frank Zadrazil from Eastport, NY with a 5lb fluke.

Eco Tour
Capt Sarah reports a lot of fun today on the Eco Tour. Our boat load of kiddies were able to look at and touch different kinds of crabs and even lobster. We also caught a small grass eel and juvenile sea bass! We ended the trip with a ride past the lighthouse for pics. A fun and educational trip.
