48 Hour Tuna-Viking Fivestar
Capt Steven Jr reports that we managed to put together a good trip with some good action on the troll. We ended up with 13 albacore and a handful of mahi. For the first half of the day the troll was very quiet, but we grabbed a few mahi off the pots. Just before sundown the albies came up and decided to chew. We had a bunch of multiple hook ups which made them add up in a few passes. The night bite remains very quiet with only a couple mystery bites and not much squid around. Hopefully the chunk bite picks up here in the next couple weeks.

Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Sarah reports a great day of fishing on the Viking Stariper. We drifted for the morning, picking up big porgies and sea bass along the way. After that we threw the anchor and filled up buckets full of nice porgies and some monster sea bass. The first place pool winner was Clive Steer from Bronx, NY with a 3 lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Noel Miranda from Astoria, NY with a 5.8 lb Sea Bass.
