Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing. We had to stay inside to wait out the weather and caught a smaller mix of porgies along with 2 keeper striped bass up to 35 lbs. Once we got outside we had better porgy fishing and also had some cod and bluefish. We had a handful of sea bass today. The first place pool winner was Wai Ching Ko with a 3 1/4 lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Ramon Reynoso from Bronx, NY with a 35 lb striped bass.

1/2 Day Mixed Bag PM
Capt Sarah reports a tough time in the windy conditions.  Those who stayed at the rail managed to fill their buckets with sea bass and porgies.  We ended the trip on a high note as the drift slowed down and brought some jumbo sea bass over the rail. First place pool winner was June Rim of Edgewater, NJ with a 4.2lb sea bass, second place pool winner was Adam Wilson of East Hampton, NY with a 3.7lb sea bass.

Night Striped Bass
Capt Steven Jr reports a slow night of bass fishing.  We had a few bass and lots of blues.  Pool winners to follow.
