Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports a tough day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. It was a windy day with the strong moon tide, but we still managed a decent catch. We had some porgies and a handful of cod. The first place pool winners were a tie- Spiro Cano of College Point and Cesar Morocho of Spring Valley both with 3lb porgies, and in second place was Alrick Walters of Brooklyn with a 10lb cod.

1/2 Day Mixed Bag-AM
Capt Steven Sr reports okay fishing with bumpy conditions out there this morning. We had a lot of action with a bunch of shorts in the mix. The pool winner was JoAnn Glaessgen from Massapequa, NY with a 3.1 lb sea bass.
