Block Island and Outer Banks Cod
Capt Steven Sr. reports a slow start in the morning with super strong tides, picking a few cod here and there.  After moving several times we found something to work on. The tides subsided and as we drifted we started bailing the cod. Double header cod were coming over the rails as we loaded up. One drift saw every rod bent with a fish fighting its way up.  High hook had 7 or more and most anglers caught a few.   The first place pool winner was Jesus Herrara of Patterson, NJ with a 16.8 lb cod and second Jan of Flushing, NY with a 14.2 lb cod!  Awesome way to end the trip!
