ENUF was ENUF – was had by a bunch of Montauk Boys! Capt Steven and Capt Kenny put a trip together on the Viking Fivestar and it took about 20 mintutes to sell out by word of mouth, and off we went. By flying down on Feb 23rd and returning on Feb 27th this gave us a couple days of nice weather. We landed in Orlando and in 45 minutes we were at the boat in shorts and t-shirts. After getting organized, we left at 3pm and steamed 3 hours. Fishing was on! We fished for mango snapper, be liners, pink porgies, jack’s, triggers. All kinds of stuff! We had red snapper and grouper everywhere we went. Unfortunately they are closed on the East Coast this time of year. For some ridiculous reason it was hard to stay away from…

Jig &Eel Combo Capt. Ant reports a fantastic night locally considering the conditions.  We had a stiff northwest wind against a screaming flood tide, add to it the swell of Cristobal and drifting squarely was a challenge to say the least.  Even with that they finally bit after a month hibernation. The sizes were mixed as we had a couple throwbacks up to a 42lb rock slob.  Average was about 20bs.  Bluefish were a bit of a nuisance at the start but once the tide got roaring it was 99% Moo Cow Linesiders and 3-4 a drift up until we left.  John Bye from Wantaugh took the pool with the 42lber and Mike Scarzelli took 2nd with a 36lber.
