Sun Jan 31 – Winter Cod
Capt JR reports that the trip started a little slow on the Viking Starship, but as the sun came up we were able to get on a pretty good bite for an hour or so. There were some real nice big green COD in the mix. After the bite slowed down we bounced around a few rock piles and picked a few more with some ling in the mix. Today was definitely an improvement over our last couple trips. The pool winner was Ma Xu Bing from Long Island with a 20 lb Cod.

Schedule Update- All trips are CANCELLED for Sat Jan 23 & Sun Jan 24 due to weather. The weather is looking great for Wednesday Jan 27, so we have added a Cod trip on the Viking Starship! The crew is anxious to get back out there!! The trip departs at 4am and returns at 3pm. The fare is $140. Reservations are required. You can book online or call the office at 631-668-5700.

Tue Jan 12 – Winter Cod – Viking Star
Capt JR reports that fishing this morning was productive and a huge improvement over yesterday. When the AM bite was over we ventured offshore and picked some more Cod with a few juicy Ling in the mix. The pool winner was Mike from Moriches, NY with a 13.2 lb Cod. Our next trip is Saturday, Jan 16th.
Sun Jan 10 – Block Island Cod – Viking Fivestar
Capt Steven Jr reports a great day of Cod fishing with the boys from the James Joseph on the Viking Fivestar. We started off in the dark with a steady pick of fish with a few shots of multiple fish on at once. From there we jumped around on some smaller pieces and picked a few fish everywhere we went. It was good to see some fish spread around on different drops and a good amount of bait in the area. Things are looking promising for this winter we just need the weather to cooperate for us.
