Sat May 31 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt. JR reports a windy afternoon of fishing. We managed to reel in and throw back some short Fluke, a Sundial, and a tiny Seabass despite the weather. Hoping for a better day out on the water tomorrow.

Sat May 31 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a slower day on the Viking Starlite. The fish didn’t bite that well with the rough weather. It was a slow pick of Porgies with a lot of smaller fish today. The pool winner was Manuel from Staten Island, NY with a 2.7 lb Porgy.

Captain JR reports a slow pick this morning on the Viking Star. We found some fluke and sea bass to bend the rods. A few keeper sized fluke went in the buckets and we unfortunately released the sea bass. Definitely a slight improvement this morning.
