Tuesday July 2 Half Day Fluke AM Captain Joe reports a very good day of bottom fishing this morning! There was lots of action all morning with a ton of shorties, some porgies and a couple sea bass (all released unharmed). The boat had about a dozen keepers! Today’s pool winner was John Mundjer of Verona, NJ with a 5lb fluke. Full Day Montauk Porgies Captain Dave reports a pretty good morning on the porgy grounds today. They saw a huge improvement in the porgies today, along with about 10 keeper fluke and about 4 stripers. Today’s pool winner was Bolliva Perez of the Bronx with a 3.5lb porgy. Monday July 1 Sunset Striper Slam Captain Anthony reports an okay first trip for the Sunset Striper Slam. We had some tough conditions with the wind and fog but we were able to get some fish over the rail. We had a couple of blues, some porgies, 1 short fluke and many sea bass (all released unharmed). Sunday June 30 Half Day Fluke PM Captain Anthony reports another super fluke trip on the Viking Starship! Our first couple drifts produced nothing in the dirty flood tide. So we poked around for the clean green and we bailed them! We had fluke, scup and even a striper. Thanks to Dylan this time around for the photos! Today’s pool winner was Roy Weydig of Glenwood Landing with a 4.9lb fluke. Half Day Fluke AM Captain Anthony reports OUTSTANDING fishing today. Fluke were chewing their heads off! It was a 5 to 1 ratio, but when you catch over 100, the keeper add up. We had plenty of JUMBO ocean porgies as well and nice sea bass up to 5lbs (released unharmed). Saturday June 29 Half Day Fluke PM Capt Ant report A decent PM trip we went back to our morning spot, nailed 3 keepers immediately, then brown water and the wind came up and we were flying. The bite shut down so we moved on and had a decent bite with higher shorts to keeper ratio but still managed a decent catch and some monster Porgies. Half Day Fluke AM – June 29th
Captain Anthony reports excellent fishing despite tough early conditions. We crushed shorties to start the day only picking a couple for the frying pan. Once the tide began to flood, the keepers started biting! We also had a mix of porgysaurus’, some blues and a few sea bass (released unharmed). Today’s first place pool winner was Elizabeth Serge-Lawrence of Sag Harbor with a 4.5lb fluke and in second was Patrick Halpin of Locust Valley, NY with a 4.2lb fluke.
Full Day Montauk Porgies – June 27th
Full Day Montauk Porgies Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Star. Nice JUMBO porgies coming over the rail. Our own Mavros caught a 19 inch 4.5lb porgy. The pool winner was Sanford Amanuel from Manhattan NY with a 4lb porgy.

Captain Dave reports a good day of porgy fishing we anchored up and caught some nice porgies and then we ran along the beach and picked up some more on the ride home we also caught a few keeper fluke in the mix. The Pool winner was Mrs Mary Brown from Montauk, NY with a 3lb Porgy

Captain Dave reports an okay day of porgy fishing today in Montauk. It was a good pick in the morning, but slowed down in the afternoon. We had mostly porgies, but we did have 2 keeper stirpers! Today’s pool winner was Gus Clark of Brooklyn, NY with a 3.5lb porgy.
Full Day Montauk Porgies – June 23rd
Captain Dave reports a better day of porgy fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We tried something new and it seemed to have worked! We found some really nice sized porgies, as well as some trigger fish, and bunch of nice cocktail blues and a handful of fluke. It was really a pleasant day of fishing. Today’s pool winner was Paul Timoney of the Bronx, NY with a JUMBO 4.7lb porgy!
Half Day Fluke AM – June 23rd
Captain Ant Reports another great day of fluking from start to finish! We had a group of 5 with 12 keepers & the pool fish of 6.8lbs. Congrats to Michelle Cornett who came all the way from Santa Clara , CA. Jeff Rantinella from Bladwin with a 4.11 lbs, and John Stella had 3 keepers and a Jumbo Scup!
