Fri June 14 – Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Star. We started out at the lighthouse where we had good fishing for awhile until the tide started raging. We headed down the beach because of the tough conditions where we had a steady pick of mixed Porgies. Once that slowed down we checked out a few more spots where we got quick shots of fish. All in all it was a productive day. The pool winner was Winston from Irvington, NJ with a 3 3/4 lb Porgy.
