New Bedford Porgies Captain Dave reports another slow but steady pick all day today in New Bedford. It was very similar to yesterdays trip with decent size porgies. A good and promising start for the beginning of the season! Today’s pool winner was James Bostic on Englewood, NJ with a 2.5lb porgy.
New Bedford Porgies & Sea Bass June 15th
Captain Dave reports a good last day of fishing out of New Bedford today. It was a slow go in the morning, but after a couple drops we found the fish! The 1st place pool winner was Gino Sturdibant of Orange, NJ with a 3.5 lb porgy and in 2nd place was Denis Brown of Bridgeport CT with an 8lb blackfish.
