Night Striped Bass Captain Anthony reports horrible conditions which equaled for horrible fishing. We started with slack drift, we got a few blues, then once we got the tide the drift was difficult but nothing mattered. Bass were not on the feed. We stayed out late and finally started marking, but only managed 1 out of a pile. The first place pool winner was George Simmons of North Babylon with a 23pounder and in second was Lucian Forantatas of Croton on Hudson with a 12pounder. Congrats to Lucien who at 14 years old showed up his father Christos a former derby winner. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Joe reports a good but windy afternoon on the Viking Starship today.
