Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knot Head Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a great day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We found a nice new spot with plenty of big fish and spent the morning picking away at mostly large and jumbo porgies. After the tide ran hard we moved and went looking for sea bass. Sea bass fishing was very good too there was plenty of them there with a few porgies and keeper fluke mixed in too. We had a nice 7lb fluke and a 5lb sea bass. The pool winner today was William Duncan from Brooklyn with a nice 3.2lb porgy.
