Tue June 16 – Montauk Spring Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good morning on the Viking Starlite. We had a nice shot of decent size Porgies early with a good mix of Bluefish. When the tide started running hard by the lighthouse we went down the beach. We found smaller Porgies there. It was great to have better fishing than we have…

Sun June 14- 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Captain JR reports a pleasant afternoon aboard the Viking Star. Much like our morning excursion, we steadily picked away at Porgies, Striped Bass, and Bluefish throughout the trip. The fishing was consistent, and everyone enjoyed some action along the way. It was a great afternoon to be out on the water!

Sun. June 14 – Montauk Spring Porgies & Sea Bass

Our first day fishing by the lighthouse produced some really nice fish. While the numbers weren’t high, it was definitely a case of quality over quantity. Some beautiful keeper Sea Bass, Fluke, and Porgies were caught throughout the trip. The pool winner was Graylin Clayton of Westchester, NY, with an impressive 3-pound Porgy. Thanks to…

Captain JR reports a beautiful morning aboard the Viking Star. We spent the trip working our usual grounds and steadily picked away at striped bass and porgies throughout the day. Fri June 12 – Montauk Spring Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports pretty much the same results of our last few trips. There were a lot of little Porgies resulting in a bunch of throwbacks. We did have a few nice size Porgies along with a Sea Bass, Weakfish and dogfish. No pool today. We will be sailing at 5AM tomorrow. Book online at…

Wed June 3 – 2 Day Deep Tile/ 1 Day of Nantucket Fluke

Captain Steven Sr. reports an excellent offshore Tilefish and Fluke trip. On the first day, our crew set sail for the Tilefish grounds and found plenty of action. Our crew reeled in lots of quality Tilefish, Pollock, and several Barrelfish throughout the day. Fishing improved even more on the second day. We were absolutely hammered…

Sun June 7- Montauk Spring Porgies and Seabass

Capt. Dave reports that the fishing was better today than yesterday, but still on the slower side. We caught mostly nice size fish with everybody bringing in some keepers. The pool winner was Edward S. from Buffalo, NY with a 2.8 lb Porgy.

Sat June 6 – Montauk Spring Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports difficult fishing on the Viking Star. Porgy fishing was tough with the dogfish being such a bother. We did manage a handful of Porgies. Everything will hopefully pick up soon! The pool winner was John Wayne from Staten Island, NY with a 2.3 lb Porgy.

Sat June 6 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Captain Carl reports a beautiful morning of half day fishing. The morning trip started off slow, with just a few small Fluke and Sea Bass coming up. Later on, we saw some better action with Porgies and Sea Bass, but overall it was a slow morning for keepers. The pool winner was Jennifer Stevenson from…

Fri June 5 – Sunset Jigging for Striped Bass & Blues

Capt Dave G reports a nice sunset Jigging trip. We arrived at the lighthouse at slack tide. There were a few birds around, but no fish. Once the tide started to flood, the action picked up. We chased some birds around to the south side, and we’re able to put together a few nice drifts….
