Mon May 25 – Montauk Spring Porgies
Capt. Dave reports a tough day of fishing today. It was a slow bite but we still got some decent action. The pool winner was Graylin Clayton from Westchester, NY, with a 2lb Porgy.
Sat May 23 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM
Captain JR reports a rainy and cold afternoon in the Viking Star but, we stuck it out and had fishing much like this morning. Some Seabass and small Fluke kept us busy and cheery at the rail. There was no pool today.

Sat May 23 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt JR reports a slower morning onboard the Viking Star. We did find a few short Fluke and some nice keeper Sea Bass to keep us interested. But, all around it was spotty. We are sailing this afternoon, but the 1/2 Day Fishing trips are cancelled tomorrow.
Fri May 22 – Night Squid Fishing
Captain Joe reports much improved Squid fishing from what we have been seeing… but overall still extremely slow. The good news is, a LOT more bait has shown up and it looks like things are ready to bust open… We are going to give it another shot this coming Monday night, May 25. We have a nice weather forecast so let’s go!
