Capt Dave G reports a slow afternoon of fishing in breezy conditions. We did manage a couple of nice keeper fluke along with some porgies and sea bass. There was no pool this afternoon.
Mon Sept 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass
Captain Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. The trip started off great early in the morning, for about an hour. The tide changed and the fishing was a slow pick of nice Porgies, Sea Bass, Triggerfish and some Blues. Todays pool winner is Noel Bonilla of Roosevelt, NY with a 2.7lb

Capt Dave G reports a breezy morning of difficult fishing conditions aboard the Viking Starlite. We managed to catch a bunch of short fluke and sea bass along with some decent sized porgies. The keeper fluke that were caught were nice sized. There was no pool this morning.
