Captain Aaron reports good fishing aboard the Viking Stariper this morning! We had a steady pick all morning of some really nice quality fluke and sea bass. Maz Grovit from Westchester NY won the pool with a 5.4lb fluke and second place went to Kevin Feldman from Smithtown NY with a 4.7lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Sea Bass Captain Dave reports excellent fishing in beautiful conditions today. We went east of the lighthouse looking for some bigger porgies and we found them! We caught plenty of mixed size porgies getting fish that were nicer than the last few days. We went looking for sea bass for a couple of drifts then. We had to pick through lots of smaller sea bass but everyone ended up with their limits. Then we kept on picking away at mixed size porgies as we worked our way back in. We also had some keeper fluke and mackerel. Jerome Hay from Manhattan NY took the pool with a nice 3lb porgy.
