1/2 Day – PM Capt Joey D reports all the usual suspects – Fluke/Sea Bass/Porgies on the Viking Star this afternoon. Fishing was very good with a lot of action. We had a tie for first place between John Gravina from Oakdale, NY and Nicole Case from Port Washington, NY with 5.1 lb Fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass Capt Dave reports pretty decent porgy & sea bass fishing today on the Viking Starship. We had a good steady pick of mixed sized porgies all day. For the last couple of drifts we headed to the east to find sea bass with a mix of porgies. Limits were caught all around the boat. The pool winner for today was Aracena Andres with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a steady day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. Conditions were good and we started off well with some nice sized porgies. The tide picked up then and we were bringing lots of smaller sized porgies over the rails, everyone limited out on porgies! Sea bass fishing was great, with lots of nice sea bass up to 4.5lbs. The pool winner was George Reid from Bushwick PA with a 2.75lb porgy.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today. It was a tough start to the morning and it was a slow go. We searched around a bit and found a nice pile of porgies all medium to large fish. We also made a sea bass drop and had tons of sea bass coming over the rail. Today’s pool winner was Phillip Brown of Teaneck, NJ with a 2.5lb porgy.
