Half Day Fishing PM Captain Dave G reports a good afternoon of fishing despite the difficult weather conditions. We had keeper fluke and nice sea bass on all the drifts. Pool winners to follow.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had a nice shot of porgies first thing in the morning and then went on the search for some sea bass. We found them and it was such good sea bass fishing! We also had some stripers and fluke in the mix. The pool winner was Eddie Morae of Wyanhanch with a nice 3.25 porgy.

Half Day – PM Capt Dave G Reports a slow afternoon on the Viking Star. We started out good, with a couple nice keeper fluke, but then the tide dropped out. We ended up catching some sea bass and some nice porgies. The first place pool winner was Coleen Rienzie from Miller Place, NY with a 6.8 lb Fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship today. We started off way down the beach to get away from the full moon tide and caught really well. We were bring in lots of medium to big sized porgies. There was lots of sea bass in the mix too and also a keeper striper. We then started working our way back to the lighthouse and slowly picked away at some more really nice jumbo porgies. Danny Yuen from Queens and Chris Chinloy from Jersey tied for first place in the pool with a 3lb porgy.
