Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship today. We started off way down the beach to get away from the full moon tide and caught really well. We were bring in lots of medium to big sized porgies. There was lots of sea bass in the mix too and also a keeper striper. We then started working our way back to the lighthouse and slowly picked away at some more really nice jumbo porgies. Danny Yuen from Queens and Chris Chinloy from Jersey tied for first place in the pool with a 3lb porgy.
