Mon July 1 – Whale Watching

Inaugural 2024 Whale Watch Trip!
A spectacular 5 cetacean species trip, with 75 Tamanend’s bottlenose dolphins, ~12 humpback whales, 2-4 finback whales, at least 12 minke whales; 200+ short-beaked common dolphins, hundreds of shearwaters, including great, Cory’s, and sooty, and thousands of Wilson’s storm petrels.

5 species of cetaceans and thousands of pelagic birds! 

12 Humpbacks (were able to reach 5 of them (including Degreee, Polaris, Flyingfox, and Sctachboard,and CRESLI-MTK.2024.07.01-03)  2-4 fin whales (including mom and calf) , ~12 minke whales, Tamanend’s bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic white-sided dolphins, Great, Cory’s, and Sooty shearwaters, Wilson’s storm petrels galore

 

  • 75 Tamanend’s bottlenose dolphins
  • 8-12 humpbacks whales (with many more around)
  • 2-4 finback whales (including a possible mom/calf pair)
  • 12 minke whales
  • 200 Atlantic white-sided dolphins
  • Thousands of Wilson’s storm petrels
  • Scores of Great shearwaters
  • 15 Sooty sheatrwaters shearwaters
  • 4 Cory’s shearwaters
