Thurs June 27 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM
Capt Steven Sr reports a lot of action this afternoon on the Viking Starlite. We had keeper Fluke and Sea Bass and a bunch of throwbacks. There were also sea robins and dogfish in the mix and a bunch of spinner sharks jumping around the boat. All in all a nice 1/2 day trip.
Thurs June 27- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports an even better day on the Viking Starship. It was a slow pick all morning with very big Porgies first thing. When the tide changed we headed east. It is really filling in out there with a lot of action, but the Porgies are not as big. We had some long drifts…

Tue June 25 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a slow trip on the Viking Starship. It was the worst day of fishing we have seen in years. The fish did just not want to bite in the left over dirty water from the rough seas that came through. We started out to the east and it was a slow pick of nice sized Porgies. After that we just had the occasional Sea Bass or Porgy. Hopefully everything will settle down and we will see our usual fishing again. The pool winner was Gim Yee from Queens, NY with a Jumbo 3 lb Porgy.
Tue June 25 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt Steven reports an okay morning on the Viking Star. We had dirty water left over from the weather that passed through, but we did have action with Sea Bass and Striped Bass. The pool winner was John Mikvlik from Vernon, NJ with a 2.9 lb Sea Bass.
Mon June 24 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a tough day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. Unfavorable conditions with a large ground swell and dirty water seemed to through off the bite today. However difficult the bite was, the Porgies that did bite were of quality size being more large than anything else. Most anglers seemed to have around half their limit of Porgies and a couple keeper SeaBass. The pool winner today went to Lenny Owens from Brooklyn with a 3 lb Porgy! We are definitely sailing again tomorrow (Tuesday, June 25th) at 5am for our Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass, our ticket office will be open at 4am.

Sun June 23 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a not too bad of a day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We faced some difficulty with conditions today that seemed to throw the bite off a bit, each drop would start off strong for the first few minutes until it dropped out and we repeated this for a few drifts…
