Capt Carl reports another EPIC night of Striped Bass fishing in Montauk on the 144ft Viking Starship! It was a very foggy night, so without the bright sunshine, the jigging part of the trip was just OK… we caught Striped Bass on every drift, just not the insanity that we saw the previous 2 nights….

Capt Mike reports slow fishing on the Viking Star this afternoon. We did manage a few Porgies in the buckets. The 8AM trip is definitely sailing tomorrow. Come on out there is plenty of space available!

Sat Jun 22 – Montauk Summer Porgies

Captain Dave reports an excellent day of fishing. The fishing was good from the very start, catching countless double header and jumbo porgies with a few throwback sea-bass scattered in the mix. There were many bites throughout the day and every spot tried had some fishing action. The pool winner today was Jose Fernadez from Westchester, NY, with a 2 3/4 lb porgy. The runner up was Wilson Tuba, also from Westchester, NY, with a 2 1/2 lb porgy.
