Mon Sept 15-Thurs Sept 18 – 3 Day TNT

Capt JR reports a very successful 3 day TNT trip onboard the Viking Star. Despite the offshore forecast being WAY off and facing some very tough conditions for most of the trip, we put together quite the catch! The Tile fishing was very solid with lots of action. We ended up with an impressive catch of Golden Tilefish with all sizes in the coolers. The Tuna portion of the trip wasn’t as wild as it had been, however, we had a very nice catch of larger quality sized Yellowfin Tuna. It was all a night bite and we also boated two nice Swordfish and few Mahi’s to top off the catch. Difficult conditions, but a VERY respectable catch!
