Half Day Fishing AM Today’s first place pool winner was 10 year old Alexander Keester of Germany with a 5lb fluke and in second place was Amal Sokkar of Montauk with 4.2lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a nice day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had a steady bite on all day with tons of medium sized porgies and sea bass with a few jumbos mixed in. Today’s first place pool winner was Edward Flores of Manhattan with a nice big 3.7lb porgy and in second place was Kyujae ho of Queens with a jumbo 6.3lb sea bass.

Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports a slow night of Bass fishing. The tide was running right as soon as we arrived on the grounds and we caught a couple nice ones, but as soon as the tide slowed up, the fish went into lock jaw mode for the rest of the night. Julia Gielan…

Half Day Fishing PM Captain Dave G reports of beautiful afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking star. We caught lots of porgies and sea bass and also had some fluke and bluefish in the mix. The pool winner was Amal Sokkar of Montauk with a nice 5.7lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass Capt Dave reports finicky fishing aboard the Viking Starship. Due to the dirty water conditions from the storm the fish were a bit picky today. The porgies were on the smaller side and their were only a handful of sea bass. Everybody did manage their limit of porgies….

Captain Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had some nice big fluke some nice big sea bass a striped bass, a blue fish and some porgies. The first place pool winner was Chris Eckart from Hampton Bays, NY with an 8 lb Fluke. The edible pool winner was Jack Barry from Rye, NY with 20 lb Striped Bass

Capt Dave G reported a good morning of fishing despite the deteriorating weather conditions. We had lots of fluke action with quite a few keepers, along with sea bass and porgies. The pool winner was Jesenia Fosse from Jersey City NJ with a 7.7lb fluke and in second place was Terri Coleman from Holbrook NY with a 5.2lb fluke.

Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports another one of those nights where we were plagued with outgoing tide all night, which, again, led to zero Striped Bass production. We had a few blues, sea bass, and scup, but no Striped Bass bite at all. The outgoing tide has really been tough for us this whole season. Anthony Cusimo took first and second in the pool with 12 and 11 pound bluefish.

Full Day Fluke & Sea Bass – Viking Stariper Capt AJ reports very slow fishing on the Viking Stariper today. The water was very dirty due to the ground swell which made for a slow pick all day. The pool winner was Dennis Schulz with a 6.9 lb Fluke.

1/2 Day Fishing – PM Capt Dave G reported a slow afternoon on the Viking Star. We managed to catch a few fluke, sea bass and porgies. Pool winners to follow.
