BLOCK ISLAND BEHEMOTH REPORT Capt. Ant can only say HOLY MOO COW!!!!!!  What a night we had across the pond.  It wasn’t fast and furious as we’ve recently experienced at the lighthouse but man was it steady and trophy abundant!!!  Four, yes four Block Island Behemoths were landed by our Bass Assassins.  Ed Persico and Frank Stoutenberg had the largest linesiders weighing in at the dock at 42.5lbs and 42.3lbs respectively.  Eddie Kantar nailed a 41.15lber and Jay Weber rounded out last nights 40 Club with a 40.8 beautifully striped Moo cow.  Other notables were JimRozas who nailed 6 (orl), the two largest going 38 and 35.14lbs, also Jim’s largest ever!!  This man was just on fire at one point nailing 5 in 5 drifts.  Jonny “Jesus of the Elbow” Rewinski had his limit to 36lbs, yet sobbed after dropping…

Jig & Eel Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports another insane Striper trip. I didn’t think it was possible to get better but it did. A new body of fish moved in and while a touch smaller in size(only 15-20lbers;) they were attacking the jigs like they hadn’t eaten in years. From start to finish we crushed it just a few shy of our limit. And the big boys are still here as well. Apologies as the pool winners names were lost in the bloody boat cleanse but the largest was 41.7lbs and second a solid 38 lbs. At least 15 fish were in the 30s and quite a few were lost. One jig hook was completely straightened on a fish. We also had plenty of gorilla blues, sea bass, porgies and a mollywhopper fluke on an eel. Tonight is…
