Sat May 28 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Full report to follow… Bryan Sisbarro from Milford, CT won the pool with a 6 lb Bluefish.

Sat May 28 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports tougher fishing on the Viking Starlite. It was a bit off everywhere we tried. We would have them for a while, but it wouldn’t last long. It was pretty much all Porgies today in the medium to large range with a handful of jumbos. All in all not bad, just a little slower today. The first place pool winner was Jose Fernandez from Peekskill, NY with a 2.8 oz Porgy. Freddy Tuba from Peekskill, NY was the second place winner with a 2.7 oz Porgy. Sat May 21 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starlite. It started slow, but when we got to them they bit very well, until slack tide and the Bluefish took over. We had about 20 Blues ranging from 5 to 8 lbs. We had a father and son from Lakewood, NJ win the pools today. 9 year old Oscar Luna won the first place pool with a 2.8 lb Porgy. Ernesto Luna won the edible pool with a 7lb 15oz Bluefish.

Fri May 20 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starlite. We fished closer today, it was a slow start and we did a lot of looking around. Towards the end of the trip we found them, so everyone loaded up with nice size Porgies.

Sat May 14 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports okay fishing on the Viking Starlite. We had a lot of tide, but we put together a decent catch of mixed sized Porgies, keeper Fluke and Weakfish. The pool winner was Jorge Davila from N. Bergen, NJ with a 2.4 lb Porgy.
