Thurs July 29 – 1/2 Day AM

Capt JR reports we had a decent pick of Sea Bass on the Viking Star. Few Porgies in the mix and a couple very nice keeper Fluke.The pool winner Liam Nagle from Mahopac, NY with a 4lb fluke.  

Wed July 28- 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt. JR reports a very productive trip this afternoon with lots and lots of jumbo Seabass all around the boat. Action from start to finish with a few Porgies and Fluke rounding out the catch. The pool winner was Brian Matthews from Tampa, FL, with a 4 lb Seabass.

Wed July 28- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Seabass

Capt. Dave reports a spectacular fishing this morning around the Lighthouse. We had perfect conditions for  nice long drifts today. Wed July 28- 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt. JR reports an excellent trip this morning. Big giant jumbo Seabass were coming over the rail the whole time. Some really nice Fluke in the mix as well. Big bags of beautiful fillets. The pool winner was Robert Serviss with a 3.5 lb Fluke.

Tue July 27 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt JR reports a quiet afternoon on the Viking Starlite. It was a slow pick of SeaBass and Porgies. A nice size Fluke was landed. The pool winner was Tim Mooney from East Meadow, NY with a 7 lb Fluke.

Tue July 27 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports great fishing on the Viking Starship. There was excellent drifting conditions at the lighthouse with plenty of Porgies with mostly mediums and larges and a handful of jumbos. Offshore we had one long drift with easy limits around the boat. You had to pick through throwback size, but the keepers were up to 4 lbs. The pool winner was Nikken Fauntelroy from Amityville, NY with a 3 lb Porgy.

Tues July 27- 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt JR reports a good trip this morning on the Viking Starlite with lots of fish coming over the rail the whole time. Seabass, Porgies and Fluke kept the rods bent. Sun July 25- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports a very good morning for Porgy fishing before the weather turned on us. When it got nasty out we decided to go down the beach where we had a nice pick of medium to large Porgies. We had some extra time so we decided to go offshore for some Seabass. It was rough rough out there but we prevailed and ended the trip with a nice catch. The pool winner was Oneal Harris from Bronx, NY, with a 2.5 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Rohon Fullwood from Bronx, NY, with a 3.5 lb Seabass.  

Sun July 25- 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt. JR reports a decent day of fishing onboard the Viking Star. The pool winner was Ben Burton from Brooklyn, NY with a 4.25lb Fluke.
