Fri June 25 – Full Moon Striped Bass
Capt Carl was happy to report that there are plenty of Bass swimming the waters of Montauk! Last nights stiff Easterly wind, however, made drifting conditions very poor for us. We had some bites on the diamond jigs of Striped Bass, Bluefish, Scup, and Sea Bass and one 35 inch slot fish that was kept. Later on when we switched to the live eels, we had some more bites including one 35 pounder that we released. Then about midway through the night things slowed to a halt with the tide easing. We expect much better conditions tonight and Saturday night! There is space left on tonight’s trip. Call the office 631-668-5700 or book online at vikingfleet.com to get on this trip! Saturday’s trip is sold out.
