Thurs June 24 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt Jr reports a great trip on the Viking Star this afternoon. Lots of quality Sea Bass came over the rail from start to finish. There were also a few more Fluke and Porgies than this morning. The pool winner was Jack Miles from Southampton, NY with a 4 lb Fluke.

Capt Dave reports a good day with lots of beautiful Seabass and some nice size Porgies on the Viking Starlite. We started offshore, where we caught plenty of nice size Seabass and everyone got their limit. We began to search for Porgies, but it was difficult finding them today because of the full moon tide….

Wed June 23- 1/2 Day AM Fishing

Capt Jr reports a slow start this morning due to some heavy currents and a swift drift. When conditions improved we picked away at Fluke and Sea Bass. There were also a few Porgies in the mix. The pool winner was Tyler Barnish from Colorado Springs, CO with a 3 lb Sea Bass.

Sun June 20- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies

Capt Dave reports a slow pick this morning on the Viking Starlite. We managed to catch some nice size Porgies by the lighthouse and finished the trip east of the lighthouse with a decent catch. The pool winner was Janis Sabaks from Brentwood, NY, with a 2.4 lb Porgy.

Sun June 20 – 1/2 Day AM

Capt JR reports a great morning of fishing on the Viking Starship. There was a lot of action and it was the most Fluke we have seen. There were also beautiful big SeaBass that were returned unharmed. They are there and ready for the picking starting Wednesday June 23! Pool Winners: 1st Place – Carter Black from Montauk with a 5.5 lb Fluke. 2nd Place – Mata McAskill from East Hampton, NY with a 4.75 lb Fluke.
