2 Night Tuna LTD Captain Jerry reports just a slow trip this past 2 Night Tuna trip. We had perfect weather, but the fish were just not there. The pool winner was Steve Sandland of Happauge with a 25lb albacore.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another very good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We stayed local today and got a night load of porgies up to 4lbs with some nice sea bass in the mix. Everyone had their limit or close to it for the sea bass. We also had some fluke and blues in the mix. Tomorrow we will have our first day for Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass. The boat will depart at 5am and return at 3pm with a fare of $100. The office will open at 4am for ticket sales.

Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports excellent Porgy fishing by the lighthouse on the Viking Starship. We went for Sea Bass towards the end of the trip and found a mix of Porgies and Sea Bass from small to large. Everyone had a handful of Sea Bass by the end of the day and their catch of Porgies. There were also a couple of Fluke. The pool winner was Hung Lee from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.3 lb Porgy.

48 Hour Tuna Charter-Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Sr reports an excellent tuna trip this weekend on the Viking Fivestar. We had a bunch of XL Yellow Fin Tuna, a limit of Blue Fin Tuna, a huge Swordfish, and a bunch of Mahi-Mahi. Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had mostly porgies today with the bit of windy conditions, but there were plenty of nice sized fish. We also had a handful of sea bass and a couple big fluke. AM Half Day Capt Dave G Reports a slow morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had difficult drifts in breezy conditions. Stil we caught some fluke, porgies and a couple of bluefish. This morning’s pool winner was Burt Berrios of Islip Terrace, NY with a 5lb Fluke.
