Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports another Excellent night of Bass fishing with another full limit of Striped Bass harvested! We started off seeing a giant pile of fish on the surface splashing like crazy and feeding on bait so we stopped and caught tons of giant gorilla bluefish which was very fun and exciting….

Half Day Fishing PM Captain Dave G reports a good afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. We caught a lot of sea bass, and also had porgies, fluke and evensome bluefish in the mix. The first place pool winner was Howard Cantor of Vermont with a 5.6lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had a little bit of a slow start in the morning but once the bite picked up, it stayed steady all day. We had nice big porgies today along with a handful a handful of nice quality sea bass and about a dozen keeper fluke. Today’s pool winner was Carl Rosales with a JUMBO 4.6lb porgy.

Sunset Mixed Bag Magic Hour Capt Liam reports that the trip started off on the slow side tonight but finished up strong. The sea bass were very hungry with most customers taking home a nice bag of fillets. The fluke were almost a no show due to a very slow drift. Besides that it was a great night on the water with young Hayes Hassett of Port Washington taking the pool with a nice 3 1/2 pound sea bass.

1/2 Day Fishing – PM Capt Dave reports a good trip on the Viking Stariper this afternoon. There was a lot of action and everyone was busy reeling in all kinds of fish. There were plenty of Fluke, keepers and throwbacks, along with Sea Bass, Porgies, and Mackerel. The pool winner was Peter Frantzeskos from Montauk with an 8.2 lb Fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports the best day we have seen in awhile! It was excellent fishing with Big Porgies. It was so good we also had some Striped Bass and Fluke. We also went offshore for a mix of nice size Sea Bass, Porgies and Mackerel. The pool winner was Larry Justice from New Jersey with a 4 1/2 lb Porgy.

1/2 Day – AM Capt AJ reports a steady pick all morning on the Viking Stariper. We had to pick through the sea robins to get to the fluke, but when we got through there were nice size fluke and sea bass. The pool winner was Howie Watsky from Melville, NY with a 7.8 lb…

1/2 Day – PM Capt Joey D reports very good fishing this afternoon on the Viking Star. We had our usual catch of Fluke, Porgies and Sea Bass. There were a lot of big and nice quality Sea Bass caught today with not many throwbacks. The First and Second Place pool winner was Willie Mannion from East Chester, NY with an 8.1 lb Fluke and a 5.8 lb Fluke.
