Half Day Fishing PM Capt Dave G reported a slower afternoon of fishing aboard the Viking Star today in windy thunderstorms. Still we managed to catch some nice big sea bass despite the difficult conditions. Pool winners to follow.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an excellent day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship! He said it was a one stop drop today with non stop action! Everyone had their limits of fish today. We had porgies up to 3lbs, sea bass up to 4lbs, bluefish, and mackerel. It was a solid day of fishing and everyone went home with full coolers. Today’s pool winner was Sam Gomez of Brentwood with a 3lb porgy.

Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports yet another very slow night of fishing on the Viking Starship. We caught 1 beauty Striped Bass right away, but then besides some sea bass and scup, we never had any action for the rest of the night. Mike Carroll of Noyack, NY was the lucky pool winner with a 24 lbs Striped Bass.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a very good day today with a nice mix of fish aboard the Viking Starship. The drop we made first thing in the morning was great! We got loads of porgies, sea bass and mackerel. We made a couple more nice drops as the day went on a found some trigger fish, flukes and bluefish. We had all medium to large fish. Full Day Montauk Ultra Limited Jumbo Fluke & Knothead SeaBass – Viking Stariper Capt Aaron reports that we picked away at sea bass all morning with a slow drift. The drift picked up at the end of the day and we then had better fluke action. The pool winner was Jim Brennan from Keyport, NJ with an 8.1 lb Fluke.
