Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Anthony reports a phenomenal day of bottom fishing at the Block grounds! Our anglers had non stop action from start to finish, retaining their limits of jumbo porgies and sea bass, as well as about 40 keeper cod up to 18lbs. Today’s first place pool winner was Alberto Hernandez of NY, NY with a 3.7lb porgy and in second place was Tony Wong of Brooklyn with a nice 14lb cod.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Anthony reports a very good day of bottom fishing off the Block Island grounds. Although the porgies were being a bit picky today our anglers still managed to put quite a few in their coolers, along with their limit of jumbo sea bass. We also had 35 keeper cod up to 20lbs. The Pool winner Howard DaCosta from Mt Vernon, NY with a 3.21lb porgy.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Anthony reports a good day of bottom fishing off of Block Island. Our anglers had their fill of jumbo porgies, sea bass and bluefish. We also had 26 keeper cod brought on board. Today’s pool winner was Louie Gan from Flushing, NY with a 3.5lb porgy.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Steven Jr. reports a slow start today, but they ended up putting a nice catch together. The first place pool winner was Henry Logen from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.8lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Julio Carchi from Queens, NY with a 9lb cod. ***Tomorrow’s trip is CANCELLED due to weather.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass – Superstar Captain Anthony reports a bit of a slower bite today, but our anglers grinded it out at the rails and put a nice catch together of jumbo porgies, sea bass as well as 9 keeper cod. The first place pool winner was Don Rainford from Bear, Delaware with a 4.3lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Yue Feng Mi from Flushing, NY with a 9lb cod. The edible pool went to Li Gon from Flushing, Queens, NY with a 12 1/4 lb cod.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Steven Jr reports a little bit of a slower day than we have been seeing due to the rough conditions today. Everyone still managed a decent catch of porgies and sea bass. Today’s pool winner was Evertoh Devonish of Brooklyn, NY with 3.2lb porgy.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another EXCELLENT day on the porgy and sea bass grounds. We had non stop action all day long. There were market size porgies and sea bass, with some keeper cod and blues in the mix. While fishing on the sea bass grounds we did run into a few dog fish. They were not much of a bother today. The pool winner was Jonathan Niranjan from Queens, NY with a 3.4lb porgy. Second Place went to Randy Cooper from Englewood, NJ with a 9lb cod.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day on the porgy grounds. The sea bass bite was a bit off due to some dog fish that showed up. There was also about 15 cod caught. The first place pool winner was Leroy Morrison from Hartford, CT with a 3.7lb porgy. The edible pool went to Jeff Brown from Brookly, NY with a 15lb cod.

There was a lot of action all day long with jumbo porgies and sea bass, along with cod and blues all in the mix. The pool winner Mr Johnny Lau from Brooklyn, NY with a 4.7lbs porgy Second place Mr Joe Ng from Brooklyn, NY with a 12lb cod.

Our anglers toughed it out at the rails and put quite the catch together, retaining their limits of jumbo scup and sea bass as well as 28 keeper cod up to 20lbs. Pool winners to follow. There was a tie for first place between Tommy Liu of Brooklyn, NY and Oscar Miguel from Bronx, NY with 3.2lb porgies.
