Mon Feb 17- Winter Cod – Viking Star
Captain Davey reports a better day of catching on the Viking Star in absolutely beautiful conditions for the middle of February. We started out the day anchored up with a slow pick of mixed short and keeper Cod. Later in the day we drifted and all anglers were kept busy. Cod were a mix of shorts and keepers and we wound up with close to 1 Cod keeper for every angler. Lots of nice large Cunner in the mix gave everyone some fish to take home. Lars Gustafson was the first place pool winner with an 8 pound Cod.
