Capt Mike reports a pretty good morning of fishing today on the Viking Star. we had some decent action right from the go and that carried throughout most the strip with a steady mixed bag pick. We boated some really nice SeaBass, some medium to large Porgy, and a few keeper Fluke. Overall, a nice…

Fri June 28 – Sunset Jigging for Striped Bass & Blues

Capt Dave G. reports a slow night on the Viking Star. We saw a lot of action last night, but not quite the desired species with some large keeper Porgies and SeaBass. We were marking the Stripers last night, but they weren’t biting on the ebb. We hook a handful of short Striped Bass, but none were keepers. There was definitely a lot of life around, just a different bite with the tide, we are looking forward to the New Moon Striped Bass trip next week to get back on that flood tide.
