Capt Jr reports a SLAMMER trip onboard the Viking Star! The day time chunk bite was on once again with rods doubled over from the moment we arrived at the grounds. Big 50-80 pound yellow fin tuna kept us busy till the sun went down on the first day of fishing. The night bite wasn’t happening so most anglers rested up for the day to come. Dawn on the second day brought NOTHING! We changed zoo fishing a few new areas and relocated the herd and began whacking and stacking the big yellow fin tuna once again. The last couple hours before sunset were pandemonium with all anglers capturing the big angry yellow fin. When darkness fell everyone had their limit and we packed the boxes to capacity.
